LED power is growing: How can voltage drop be controlled?

With the power rating of LED luminaires growing, what approach needs to be taken to control voltage drop along network cables?

Voltage drops will be reduced by utilising the standard's compliant length for data cabling (90m permanent link and 100m channel). Performance of the cable is improved by utilising shielded cable or a thicker wire gage of cable (23 AWG or better).
